Sean's Kisby List - Sources

You will notice that the Gedcom programme I use (GED2WWW) displays basic information only (with the exception of living individuals). Nevertheless it is often the case that I hold details of baptisms, burials, occupations etc... A general rule-of-thumb would be that if a date of birth is given as approximate (e.g. Abt 1841) then it has been assumed from either the date of baptism, or from an age given in Census returns. And if a question mark follows a date of birth (e.g. Abt 1841?) it will be a vague guess based on (probably) a date of marriage.
